WFAN Host Mike Francesa believes he has a great new gaming idea. But Craig Carton of the FNTSY Sports Network shatters his dream.
In an one of the more befuddling and comical moments on sports talk radio in recent memory, iconic host Mike Francesa, discussing legalized sports betting on WFAN Radio in New York today, unleashed his new concept of games that would appeal to the target audience. Talking about games that could attract people who bet on sports, he said he could "create 10 games in 15 minutes." He want on to describe his concept in detail, in which you could pick five Major League Baseball players for tonight's games, and if they outscore everyone else who plays, you could win life-changing amount of money.
Craig Carton of the FNTSY Sports Network, breaks down Francesa's "concept" in the video below. Ultimately, he reveals the "shocking truth" to Francesa. These games have already existed for years, via major success stories such as FanDuel and DraftKings. Apparently, Francesa has never heard of Daily Fantasy Sports before. Carton's hilarious reactions to Francesa's "invention" cannot be missed.
