DFS NASCAR: Richmond Spring Xfinity Preview
NOTE: The Cup Series preview will be posted after Cup Qualifying is complete.
RACE PREVIEW FOR TOYOTA CARE 250
This week marks the second of four Dash 4 Cash races in the Xfinity Series, so no Cup Series regulars are competing in this race at Richmond. Out of the four drivers eligible for the cash prize from this event, Justin Allgaier ($11,200 on DraftKings) has been closest to collecting multiple victories this season with three Top 2 finishes in the last four races. Allgaier was sixth in first practice, second in final practice, and starts seventh. Look for him to finish in the Top 5 based on practice speeds.
Christopher Bell ($11,000) finished sixth in his only start at Richmond after qualifying 14th. Bell was first in first practice, fourth in final practice, had the third-best 10 Consecutive Lap Average in final practice, and starts second. Bell has shown speeds good enough to compete for the win and lead a decent amount of laps.
Cole Custer ($10,800) starts first in today's race. Custer has one Top 10 finish in three starts at Richmond. He was second in first practice, fifth in final practice, and had the second-best 10 Consecutive Lap Average in final practice. Custer's practice speeds indicate that he will compete for the win and lead several laps.
Austin Cindric ($8,600) and Noah Gragson ($7,400) are making their Xfinity debuts at Richmond. Cindric was fourth in first practice, seventh in final practice, had the fifth-best 10 Consecutive Lap Average in final practice and starts third. He will compete for a Top 5 finish based on his practice speeds. Gragson was third in both practices, had the best 10 Consecutive Lap Average in final practice, and starts 11th. Gragson will score a few Place Differential points and compete for a Top 3 finish based on his practice speeds.
Jeb Burton ($7,000) and Alex Labbe ($6,700) are the bargains to pick up for Richmond. Burton finished 19th in both of his starts at Richmond. He was 12th in first practice and 20th in final practice. Burton is riding in better equipment since his last two starts, therefore he will place in the Top 15 and score a new career-best finish. Labbe was 13th in first practice, 18th in final practice, and starts 19th. Look for Labbe to compete for a Top 15 finish as indicated by his practice speeds.
