Giannis continues to be a dominating presence on the court, leading the team with a 34.7% usage rate. In the 14 games he has played so far this season, he has averaged 32 minutes, 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
The Hawks, currently on a three-game win streak, have seen outstanding performances from Trae Young and Clint Capela. In Friday’s 116-98 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Young scored 43 points in 31 minutes, while Capela played 30 minutes a recorded a triple-double, scoring 13 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks.
Keep an eye on the injury report. Young and De’Andre Hunter are both listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s matchup. Young is dealing with back spasms, and Hunter continues to recover from knee soreness.
Cam Reddish should see an increased role if Young sits out Sunday. Playing from the bench in Friday’s matchup, Reddish scored 15 points in 25 minutes, with five rebounds and two assists.
If Hunter is unable to play, expect Kevin Huerter to start. Starting in four games this season, Huerter has averaged 37 minutes, 13 points, five rebounds and four assists.
