The Celtics are a team you want to start betting on regularly as a hot streak looks to be right around the corner. Kemba Walker is a guy that is absolutely a buy-low player, but he’s quickly having the numbers catch up to him so that that status won’t last long. In his first two games back, his props number for three-pointers was 1.5, and now it’s been up to 2.5 and widely accepted in the marketplace. Big picture for the Celtics, they are a team that is just about ready to go on a run very soon. Boston is starting to figure out their pieces and get them all put together.
They had won two straight before dropping a tight one to the Spurs on Wednesday. They put up almost 130 points in those two wins and covered the number in both of those games. They’re starting to figure things out on offense and finally have their Big Three of Kemba, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown playing together again. The trio combined for 63 of Boston’s 106 points in the loss to San Antonio, with each man putting up at least 14 points.
This little rotation that they have been using has been fantastic for Marcus Smart’s play. They’ve got role-players, and big men Tristan Thompson and Daniel Theis have been tremendous. And, of course, don’t forget the mastermind head coach Brad Stevens pulling strings. His hoops IQ is off the chart, and he’s at the top of the class in terms of coaching. There are really good things coming to Boston this season.
