Houston Rockets, James Harden
The Bet: Under 9.5 Assist U (-118)
James Harden continues to be a dominating presence on the court for the Houston Rockets, averaging 36 minutes, 27 points, five rebounds and 11 assists in six games. He has reached the 10-assist mark in four games. Last season he reached the 10-assist mark 15 times, playing in 68 games.
However, he will face a tough Lakers team that allows opponents 24 assists per game and limits opponents to the sixth-least points per game at 106.6.
Harden currently projects for 7.7 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers. Given a tough defensive matchup and the league-average pace both teams are playing, look for Harden to trend toward the under (-118)
The Rockets are a 3-point home underdog on FanDuel Sportsbook against the Lakers in a game with a 224.5 total.
Chicago Bulls, Patrick Williams
The Bet: Over 3.5 Rebounds O (-128)
Rookie Patrick Williams should see increased playing time with the absence of Otto Porter Jr., who is listed as doubtful after suffering back spasms Friday. In Friday’s game against the Lakers, Williams played a season-high 34 minutes, with six points and eight rebounds.
Starting in 10 games for the Bulls, Williams has reached the four-rebound threshold five times.
Williams currently projects for 5.6 rebounds against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Bulls are playing at the third-highest pace in the league, with 104.8 possessions per game and rank sixth in points per game at 115 points per game. With an up-tempo pace and likely playing from behind against the Clippers, look for Williams to trend toward the over (-128)
The Bulls are an 11.5-point road underdog against the Clippers in a game currently at a 221.5 total on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Detroit Pistons, Blake Griffin
The Bet: Under 15.5 Points U (-110)
In six games this season, Blake Griffin has averaged 32 minutes, 14.5 points, six rebounds and four assists. He has reached the 16-point mark two times this season.
Griffin reached the 16-point threshold in 10 of the 18 games he played in an injury-shortened season last year.
Blake Griffin projects for 12.6 points against the Utah Jazz. Facing a Jazz team who allowed the eight-least points per game to opponents last season at 108.8 points per game and playing at one of the league’s slowest slate at 98.6 points per game, Griffin should trend toward the under (-110).
The Pistons are an 8.5-point home underdog against the Utah Jazz on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 218 total.
