The Washington Wizards come into tonight’s matchup against the Nets without any players listed on the injury report. The Nets are still without Nicolas Claxton, who is out indefinitely, while Spencer Dinwiddie is done for the season after tearing his ACL.

The Under is 5-2 in their last seven meetings.
Nets are on a 0-4 ATS run after an ATS loss.
Washington Wizards vs. Brooklyn Nets Predictions and Picks
Who knew that Spencer Dinwiddie was the player who connected all the dots for the Nets. Since his injury, the Nets are just 1-3 straight up and 0-4 against the spread. It’s taking some time for the Nets to find which mix of players will work best for them in his absence. This is just one of the challenges that first-year head coach Steve Nash has to deal with.
The Wizards finally picked up their first win of the season on Friday with a 130-109 win on the road over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Perhaps what’s most interesting about that win was that they did it without Russell Westbrook, who was rested for the game. If Bradley Beal and Westbrook can get on the same page, they have as good a backcourt duo as any team in the league. Per TeamRankings, Washington is ranked ninth in offensive efficiency (1.082), just two spots behind the Nets (1.089). Their problem has largely been on the defensive end as there they’re ranked 26th in the league. If this game turns into a track meet, I think it would bode well for the Wizards.
This spread seems a bit inflated at the current line, and I wouldn’t rule out the Wizards winning this one outright. Westbrook should be motivated to play against his former teammate, Kevin Durant, and I think he’ll give a good outing after sitting out the last game.
This line opened at 8.5, and sharp money has bet it down to 7.5. I’d be comfortable playing the Wizards down to 6.5.
The Pick: Wizards +7.5
