Buccaneers’ running back Ronald Jones II will be a game-time decision on Sunday when they take on the New Orleans Saints. He recently returned from a spell on the reserve/COVID-19 list just in time for the Wild Card game but picked up a quad injury during pre-game warmups. Jones still dressed for the game, but Tampa Bay opted to keep him on the sidelines as Leonard Fournette got the bulk of the carries.
The Buccaneers are increasing Jones’s workload each day this week. On Wednesday, he was kept out of practice, while on Thursday, he was a limited participant. It’ll be a good sign if Jones practice without any limitations on Friday. Head coach Bruce Arians want to observe Jones at full speed, and if he likes what he sees, he could get his normal amount of reps.
Arians has already named Fournette the starter for Sunday. If you’re looking to add Fournette to your fantasy roster, he’ll cost $11,000 at FanDuel, while Jones is priced at $10,500.
