Footage captured by Espn’s Jenna Laine shows Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans jogging at practice.
Evans was sidelined this week after hyperextending his knee in Sunday’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons. His participation at practice is at least a step in the right direction for Evans to play this weekend. The seven-year pro seemed to be in good spirits as he was seen smiling with his teammates.
When briefly addressing reporters, Buccaneers head coach said, “I think he’s got a chance. I think he’ll be a game-time decision…If he’s playing, he’s good to go…He’s lived in the training room and done a great job with it…Today is the first day we tried to do much active movement, and it was okay. Hopefully, we’ll see how sore he is tomorrow.”
FanDuel currently lists Evans at $7,600 for this weekend.
As for their game on Saturday, Tampa Bay opened as a 7.5-point road favorite against Washington. The line has now been bet up to 8.5.
