Adam Hoge reports Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney is ruled out of Sunday’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
Mooney suffered an ankle injury in the Bears’ Week 17 16-35 loss to the Green Bay Packers and was limited in practice all week.
The rookie has impacted the Bears’ offense, catching 61 passes for 631 yards and four touchdowns, playing in all 16 games this season. He is second on the team in target market share with 16.47%, only behind Allen Robinson.
In Mooney’s absence, expect Anthony Miller to see an increased role on the field. He is priced at $4,700 on FanDuel. He will face a Saint defense who have allowed 23.58 points to opposing wide receivers this season.
The Bears are a 10-point road underdog against the New Orleans Saints on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a wild card matchup with a 48.5 total.
