Detroit Lions to Hire Aaron Glenn as Defensive Coordinator

Adam Schefter reports that the Detroit Lions are set to hire New Orleans Saints Defensive Backs coach Aaron Glenn as their new Defensive Coordinator.
The Lions and Saints were on opposite ends of the passing yards allowed spectrum. The Saints allowed 217.0 passing yards per game, while the Lions ranked 30th in the league allowing 284.9 yards per game. These stats start to look at lot different when you consider that the Saints were playing with the lead most of the season and teams were forced to throw to catch-up, while teams were normally leading against the Lions and relying more on running plays to eat up the clock.
Glenn has his work cut out for him, as the Lions ranked dead-last in total defence and scoring defence this past season.
