The Dallas Cowboys have fired defensive coordinator Mike Nolan
The Cowboys have parted ways with defensive coordinator Mike Nolan following a season to be forgotten for Dallas’ defense. According to Fox’s NFL Insider Jay Glazer, the Cowboys removed Nolan of his duties on Friday. Dallas allowed almost 30 points per game this season, fifth-worst in the NFL while giving up the league’s second-most rushing yards at nearly 160 each week. The Cowboys pass defense were also shredded regularly at the start of the season before improving to a respectable level. America’s Team missed the playoffs for the second-straight year and third time in the past four years.
