Bills WR John Brown Activated From Reserve/COVID-19 List

The Buffalo Bills get a key player back this week as wide receiver John Brown has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list. An ankle injury landed Brown on IR, but upon his return, he was ruled to have been in contact with teammate T.J. Yeldon, who tested positive for the virus. Brown last played in Week 10, and it would make sense for him to get some work on the field before the playoffs, especially with Cole Beasley out with a knee injury.
As things stand now, Buffalo can clinch the second seed in the AFC with either a win on Sunday against Miami or a Pittsburgh loss to Cleveland.
The Steelers have already acknowledged that Ben Roethlisberger will not play, and they could rest other key players as well.
In his weekly radio spot with WGR radio in Buffalo, Bills coach Sean McDermott was non-committal on whether they will choose to rest their own players. Keep in mind that if Cleveland gets out to a big lead against Pittsburgh, Buffalo could look to pull their starters.
The Bills opened as a 2.5-point home favorite against the Dolphins, and that number is now as high as 3.5 at some sportsbooks in the market.
If you like Buffalo, a first-half play might be worth a look here, particularly if there is a chance their starters don’t finish the game.
