This weekend we’ve got a pair of divisional rivals hooking up in the playoffs as the NFC West’s Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams hook up in Seattle. The Seahawks are favored by -3.5, and we don’t know who the Rams quarterback will be. It could be backup John Wolford, or the injured Jared Goff could play through the pain. Whether it’s Wolford or Goff, it doesn’t really matter. Wolford didn’t look great last week against the Cardinals. He put up 18, but that’s not gonna be enough to keep up with Mr. Unlimited Russell Wilson. If it’s Goff, that’s nothing to worry about either, as he did not look good in his last game against Seattle.
The Seahawks have had some ups and downs and bumps and bruises along the way, but they come in on a four-game win streak to come in with the momentum. The team that’s been rolling is the team to pick in this one with the -3.5 points. Sure Russell hasn’t cooked as much recently in the last month or so, but he’s playoff-tested; he’s battle-tested. Ryan Schottenheimer will have Russell cooking for these receivers. Wilson is going to have his way with the Rams this weekend.
