Fletcher Cox has battled through his share of adversity this season with a neck injury. He was injured again after a stinger forced him out of the game last week against the Cowboys. Cox is a key player on Philadelphia’s defensive line, and they’ll likely need him available to have a chance at beating the Washington Football Team on Sunday night. While it is possible to play through a stinger, the fact that the injury was enough to force him out of the game does decrease his chances of playing this week.
It will certainly be interesting to see which Eagles players will be available to play, given that this is a team that has been decimated by injuries, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.
The Eagles have already been eliminated from playoff contention and can only play the spoiler role against Washington, who are 1.5-point road favorites over at FanDuel.
Points could be at a premium as the total is currently sitting at 42.5.
