San Francisco 49ers Could Cover vs. Seattle Seahawks
Can Seattle go out there against the 49ers and really impose their will? Maybe if Russell Wilson throws for four touchdowns, but they haven’t looked like that offensive juggernaut of a team lately. It’s a big deal if they can get that No. 1 seed, but who are they?
It’s almost at the point where it’s like, all right, you guys decided that you’re now a defensive-oriented team, and we’ll see you in January. It remains to be seen if that’s what it will look like. It’s just been very underwhelming on how the Seahawks have transformed throughout this year.
The 49ers could definitely be taken in this spot — San Francisco went out there and unnecessarily won that game against the Cardinals last week in Arizona, a game the Cardinals desperately needed for their playoff hopes. Now, there’s no reason the Niners can’t go out there and cover six points against this Seattle team that has just been a shell of their former selves in every sense of the word.
