NFL Network’s Michael Giardi may have been on to something last Sunday when he spotted Stefon Diggs struggling to get loose before the start of the game.
Apparently, Diggs has an oblique injury that has landed him on the injury report. The former University of Maryland product was a limited participant in Tuesday’s practice, along with fellow wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (ankle) and reserve quarterback Jake Fromm. Cole Beasley was the only player listed on the report who did not practice on Tuesday. Beasley picked up a knee injury in the fourth quarter of their Week 16 matchup against the Patriots. He was inactive in Week 17 against Miami.
The good news is that the Bills seem to have a surplus of wide receivers who can get the job done at the moment. Buffalo managed to score 56 points against Miami in a game the Dolphins needed to win to guarantee a postseason spot. John Brown suited up for the first time since Week 10 and caught four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown, while Gabriel Davis scorched the Dolphins for 107 yards and a touchdown on just two catches.
Brown is listed at $5,700 at FanDuel, while Davis is listed at $5,000.
