Philip Rivers’ season has been his worst ever and history shows that it isn’t going to get any better this week versus the Steelers. Check out his story in this week’s Historical Consistency.
So, let’s take a look at which quarterbacks have historically done well in their Week 14 game scenarios.
|[table “202” not found /]|
Peyton Manning has been extremely consistent this season with a 92 percent QSR. Historically, he’s earned 23.30 Fantasy points per game (FPG) and a perfect 100 percent QSR in the three games over the past three seasons when playing away versus a bad defense. He’s definitely a starter this week.
Aaron Rodgers has not been very consistent this season with only a 67 percent QSR. However, he’s earned 31.41 Fantasy points per game (FPG) and he’s earned an 88 percent QSR in the eight games he’s played over the past three seasons when playing at home versus an average defense.
Philip Rivers has not been very consistent this season and this week doesn’t look any better for him. On the road versus a good defense, he’s only averaged 17.24 FPG and is one for five (20 percent QSR) in Quality Games over the past three seasons. Start him if you must, but keep expectations low.
Josh Freeman has been fairly consistent so far this season, but this week could be a tough ride for him as well. Historically, he’s only earned 16.51 Fantasy points per game (FPG) and has a 14 percent QSR in seven games over the past three seasons when playing at home versus an average defense. I’d still start him, but keep expectations low.
