Kareem Rosser Has Continued To Live His Dream Riding Polo
I think we all remember our dreams as young children. For many of us, those dreams faded with our youth/realism (or even athleticism if you grew up marveling at guys like Lebron James and Calvin Johnson). A very small percentage of people can say there proclamation at a young age has come true. Kareem Rosser, as featured in this weeks edition of HBO’s “Real Sports” (premiering tonight at 10 p.m. ET), made his young statements come true.
As a young boy, he was brought into a Philadelphia based program where he was able to play Polo in return for work. In an interview with HBO, he says that he would just ”like to go to college and do polo”. Well, 12 years later, he’s doing just that and more. Kareem took his opportunity and ran with it, becoming the collegiate player of the year at Colorado State. 12 years later he meets up with the same HBO crew that interviewed him such a long time ago to catch up and talk about some awesome stuff.
Below is a clip of the interview and you can see Rosser beaming with pride throughout.
