Aliens Visit Earth, See Baseball, Just Keep Going
In the first inning of an afternoon playoff game between the Giants and the Nationals, the sun was eclipsed by a large object in the sky during Adam Laroche's at-bat:

While the cover story is that it was a blimp and not an alien ship (sheah, right...), if it were extra-terrestrial, watching the hitting-deprived NLDS would likely bore them to tears (or whatever reaction bored aliens have), and make them abandon Earth and search another planet for intelligent life.

Here's hoping they don't fly over during a Yasiel Puig at-bat, or they may blow up our planet to prevent the spread of this scourge.
