Astros Officially Good Enough To Force Taylor Swift To Reschedule Houston Concert

Raise your hand if you predicted the Astros would be 10 games over .500 and firmly in the playoff hunt with about two months left in the season. That's what we thought. No shame, though -- few could have predicted the Astros' turnaround this year after six straight losing seasons. Only the Astros themselves believed that this kind of success could be possible. Or, their social media and/or the people in charge of scheduling at Minute Maid Park did.
See, back before the season, it was announced that Taylor Swift would hold a concert at Minute Maid Park in mid-October:

And yet, even before the calendar moves into August, the Astros and Minute Maid Park have decided that the playoffs are a realistic enough possibility to officially move the concert. In fact, they moved it up more than a month:
