Catch Him If You Can: If Warriors Lose Curry, Blame Their Bumbling Fans
When Stephen Curry went flying into the stands in the fourth quarter on Wednesday, not one so-called Warriors fan attempted to catch him or do anything to break his fall. That's rather shameful -- if these same people saw a foul ball at an A's game, they'd push aside kids and plow over the elderly to catch it.
Curry is Golden State's most valuable animate object, and now he has a welt on his elbow the size of a tennis ball, due to the crash. Real Warriors fans -- the kind who have been priced out during the playoffs (and let's face it, most of the regular season), would have formed a human cushion for him.
This is what he landed on:

Many agree that those Warriors fans dropped the Curry.

Curry says he's fine. But if he isn't, and his shooting suffers or he actually misses time, the reasons are right there above. Why do fans risk life and injury going after foul balls, but when the two-time MVP is right in their laps, they run away?
