Choate’s Throwing Error Allows Giants To Score, Take 2-1 NLCS Lead
Game 3 of the National League Championship Series went into extra innings Tuesday before Cardinals reliever Randy Choate -- soon-to-be related to Randy “Choke” jokes – threw a fielded bunt wide of first base, allowing Brandon Crawford to score to win the game for San Francisco. It’s just like every little boy in Little League imagined it!
In the Championship Series between two teams that no one will root for outside of their city limits when they face the darling Royals or Orioles in the World Series, the Giants are now up two games to one against the Cardinals.

The Cardinals will throw out Shelby Miller for his second career postseason start on Wednesday night in San Francisco. He’ll face Ryan Vogelsong, who owns a 1.19 postseason ERA.
