Curt Schilling Thinks Lunar Eclipse Is Divine Warning Against Iran Nuclear Deal
Good news! MLB's resident crazy uncle is back. ESPN has reinstating Curt Schilling for the MLB Playoffs, after having suspended him last month for Facebook propaganda and shenanigans, in which he compared Muslims to Nazis.
That Schilling is four different bat species of crazy is not news to anyone who keeps up with sports news. But since his suspension, at least he's stayed off of social media with his nutty observations and opin ... wait, sorry. No he hasn't.
Last week Schilling took to Facebook and professed his belief that Sunday's blood moon and eclipse was God's way of warning us against the Iran nuclear deal, USA Today reports. Really. He reposted an article by San Antonio Pastor John Hagee, who wrte a book about how four eclipses in a relatively short period of time is a sign from God that we are on the brink of world disaster.
Schilling's own response:
In much the same way, I'm curiously at peace with Schilling's insanity.
Of course Hagee is the same guy who predicted that the world would end in 2012, and again in 2013. He also preaches that all homosexuals should be killed, and that satellite TV exists so that we can all watch the Antichrist destroy Jerusalem.
And that's not all for Schilling. He's been a very busy boy.

ESPN is bringing him back anyway -- in the studio, at least.
ESPN says Curt Schilling will be back in the studio for the MLB postseason. He will not be part of the crew calling the AL Wild Card game.
