Donut-Licking Pop Star Ariana Grande Booted From All-Star Game Concert Lineup For Anti-America Comment
Say what you want about America, but if you lick our donuts you've got trouble.
So learned tiny actor/pop singer Ariana Grande today, as she was removed from the artists' lineup at the free MLB All-Star Game concert in Cincinnati this coming weekend.
Grande, 22, gained fame as a child actress on the Nickelodeon shows Sam & Cat, Victorious and Scream Queens, which I'm told by sources in my home are awesome, and is now a singer with two No. 1 albums, which I'm told "are terrible."
Anyway, she was caught licking donuts at an LA store on the Fourth of July, and saying "I hate America" to her boyfriend. That was enough to get her booted from the concert. Watch the action below:
Video caught Grande making disparaging comments about the United States on the Fourth of July while waiting to buy donuts. She also appears to lick a donut
The irony here is that Grande has been heavily involved in charity work and pro-LGBT issues since she was a preteen, and appears to be a thinking, caring human. If she thinks Americans eat too many donuts, what was she doing in a donut store? Whole Foods is right down the street, Cat.
THIS JUST IN: Grande has explained herself/apologized.
