Hosmer Bat Flip > Than Bautista’s … Royals Win Game 1 On Sac Fly
It took just more than five hours and Bartolo Colon must have lost 20 pounds during his relief stint, but the Royals finally dispatched the Mets, 5-4, in 14 innings in Game 1 of the World Series. Eric Hosmer's sacrifice fly with the bases loaded won it for Kansas City -- the routine play made glorious by the circumstances, and Hosmer's awesome, walking, halfway-down-the-line bat flip. Behold:
There's actually a lot of criticism on social media right now for the bat flip, but most seem to love it. Depends on who you root for, I guess.
