Ironically, Wilmer Flores Cries Because He’s Leaving Mets In Trade
While the Carlos Gomez trade from the Brewers to the Mets is still up in the air, the Mets kept shortstop Wilmer Flores out in the field during Wednesday night’s game against the Padres. Obviously emotional, Flores had to fight back tears to continue to play on.

The deal isn’t expected to be completed until physicals are taken, including on Mets P Zack Wheeler (elbow), who is out until mid-2016 after Tommy John surgery.
No doubt, seeing someone pour out some emotion on the field and wipe away some tears on sleeve makes us all remember how tough it would be to suddenly be uprooted from your friends and the place you've learned to call home.
Twitter, interestingly, felt for Flores, and Flores probably earned more admirers in one night than he did all season.

Flores is still in the game because the #Mets are trying to win & trade is pending a physical from Wheeler who had TJ. Stop crying Twitter.
