Madison Bumgarner Dominates Cubs With Arm and Legs (VIDEO)
On a mild Thursday afternoon, a red hot Madison Bumgarner started against an equally scorching Chicago Cubs team, and dowsed them with his arm and glove... and legs.
Madison Bumgarner is 26 years old and he already has as many 10K+ games (25) as Juan Marichal? Wow.

Just from a pitching standpoint, Bumgarner has been unreal this month. In 37.2 IP over 5 games, he has given up only 6 runs while striking out 53 batters and only walking 4. But he's also done it with his bat, with 5 hits in August, 2 of them homers (did I mention that he was used as a pinch hitter twice this month and got a hit?). If that weren't enough, he pulled off this play today to cover first :
Really? Bumgarner is now 5-0 this August, and dropped the Cubs to 18-6 this month. The win moved the Giants a win closer to the Cubs' final NL Wild Card spot. Chicago should consider itself lucky that it avoided facing Bumgarner in their four-game home series against San Francisco earlier this month. They should feel even luckier that they won't see Bumgarner again this year (unless of course if it's in the Wild Card one-game playoff).

If Bumgarner wins out, he could finish the regular season with a 23-6 record. Who's betting that he won't?
