Nationals Announcer Starts Freestyling During Blowout
Baseball has the ability to be really really boring when during a blowout. During last night's 11-4 destruction of the White Sox, the Nationals broadcasters were doing everything they could to keep themselves entertained. By the the third inning, the game was a 7-0 blowout, so Bob Carpenter and F.P. Santangelo just started talking nonsense.
Due to the atrocity that is known as the NBA Finals, we've seen Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson do this constantly. They'll talk about movies, television shows and kicks to the nuts, really anything that will make the time go by. Carpenter and Santangelo took it to the next level by freestyling to a song that they heard coming back from break.
Basically the guys at MASN, set a bunch of highlights to "Swing For The Fences" by Chuck D Beat Crew feat. Triniti. A bit later in the inning, Santangelo talked about how he can't get that damn song out of his head. Evidently, Bob Carpenter agreed, asking to hear the song again. This time he added his own set of lyrics.

Here's the original version. Honestly, we are kind of down for Carpenter's. Hopefully the Nationals continue to blow teams out so we can get more freestyling from the MASN crew.
