Phillies’ ‘Pistachio Girl’ Apparently A Nutty White Nationalist So She Got Fired
So if you're not familiar with Pistachio Girl, she's the popular peanuts and Cracker Jack vendor at Citizens Bank Park who serenades fans with melodious calls of her wares during Phillies' games.
But her popularity took a hit recently when it came to light that Pistachio Girl -- Emily Youcis of Philadelphia -- is a devoted supporter of white nationalist causes who is fond of retweeting David Duke comments.
Last month Youcis showed up at a white nationalist conference in Washington D.C. and was involved in a violent street fracas outside of the venue. That, along with her alt-right social media activity, was too much for Aramark, the vendor that employs her, and she was fired last week. Philadelphia Daily News:
In an interview with Red Ice TV, an internet outlet that promotes white identity politics, Emily Youcis, 26, said she was terminated by Aramark after being told her social media activities supporting white nationalist ideas do not reflect her employer's values.

One of Youcis' recent tweets:
So I deserve to be fired for having White Identity but you can identify with a Socialist Jew who scammed millions from broke kids? https://t.co/9GVe0lynC0

Youcis also said on Twitter that she's "thinking of getting a lawyer," and may hold protests outside of Citizens Bank Park next season.
