Stan Musial Dies At 92

  • Joe Levine

St. Louis Cardinals legend and Hall of Famer Stan Musial passed away Saturday night. He was 92.

Musial, who played 22 seasons for the Cardinals from 1941-1962, had as great of a Hall of Fame resume as you’ll find in MLB History:

3,630 hits.

475 home runs.

1,951 runs batted in.

.331 career batting average.

Three World Series titles.

Three MVP trophies.

All of these amazing accomplishments on the offensive end and he actually was originally signed by the Cardinals to be a pitcher.
