The Indians Troll Of Rays Manager Kevin Cash Is Too Damn Good
Living in New York, we are used to the "Once A Knick, Always A Knick" tagline. No matter how long you played for the team, as long as you passed through, you're always family. That is pending that you didn't piss off James Dolan in some way (see Van Gundy, Jeff), but for the most part it holds true. So when other teams celebrate the homecoming of their former players, we are all for nostalgia. The Indians took nostalgia and blew it up today.
The Tampa Bay Rays are in in Cleveland this week to face off against the Indians. Although Rays' manager Kevin Cash never played for the Indians, he previously spent time Cleveland's bullpen coach. Cash also played for Indians' manager Terry Francona in Boston. Throughout his relatively brief major league career, Cash was more of a glue guy than anything else. He was a solid backup catcher and had a good mind for the game. So before today's game, the Indians thought it was only right to honor their former bullpen coach with a "Tribute to Legacy".

A career batting average of .183? Career OBP of .248? Ice cold Cleveland, ice cold. But I guess when you win your first championship in 50 years, you can get away with anything today.
