You can’t help it. You’ve seen all of the famous MLB playoff highlights a million times over, but you can’t turn away. You can’t help but get the goosebumps and smile when you see Joe Carter’s World Series winning home run or Bill Mazeroski’s “shot heard round the world”. You get the chills hearing Joe Buck emulate his father’s call in saying “We will see you tomorrow night”. There is legitimately nothing like reliving the long history of baseball and remembering the most dramatic moments in the sport.
With the 2016 playoffs in full swing, and more than a few memorable moments already in the books (Clayton Kershaw anyone?), Whistle Sports put together their Top 20 moments in postseason history. Sure, you’ve seen them all before, but that’s not the point. You watch the video to smile for six and a half minutes, to remember where you were when Roy Halladay finished off his no-hitter or Don Larsen finished off his perfect game. We can watch montages like this all day and this may or may not have sent us on a YouTube of some our other favorite playoff memories.
And if we are being honest…we only skipped through one of the 20 moments. We are looking at you Big Papi, you SOB.
