We've already seen what the U.S. would look like with new NFL borders. Now the creator of this "United Countries of Baseball" map has redrawn the U.S. borders, and it teaches us a few things, and gives us visual evidence of things we should already know:
2. The Eastern half of the country seems to care far more about baseball than the Western half.
3. Are there really that many people rooting for the Washington Nationals? Really? The Nationals fan base is more than double size of the Baltimore Orioles fan base? We find that really hard to believe. When's the last time the Nats sold out a home game? Stephen Strasburg's debut doesn't count.
4. Contrary to popular belief, a few Canadians actually watch baseball.
