This should come as no surprise to anyone: an actor playing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is impaled by a shark in “Sharknado 2: The Second One”, which premiers tonight on the SyFy Channel (9 p.m. ET, PST, 8 p.m. CT).

Why not the real Rob Ford? Good question: perhaps he was in rehab when this scene was filmed. So this will have to do. (UPDATE: He may only appear in the Canadian version).

We all remember how the original “Sharknado” made summer, 2013, the Summer of Joy. This one promises to be even better, being that it has a real sports angle (the Sharknado threatens to destroy Citi Field, home of the Mets), and has in its cast wrestler Kurt Angle, and Jared from Subway.

I for one can’t wait. So consider this your “Sharknado 2: The Second One” headquarters, where you can watch a live stream of the broadcast, linked here. Also we’ll update you with the best viewer tweets and memes, plus tweets of our own. You provide the snacks.

You can check out some of the scenes here.

See you at 9 p.m.! (8 Central!).
