Antoine Walker Talks Losing $110 Million In Cringe-Worthy Interview On Bloomberg
You may remember former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker, who played mostly for the Celtics in the years before Paul Pierce got actual help in the forms of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. Walker went on Bloomberg's "Taking Stock" yesterday to talk about his new documentary, which is about how he lost $110 million after his basketball career ended.
It's never not-awkward to talk about losing $110 million due to gambling, real estate investments and your opulent, extravagant, insane lifestyle, but Walker's appearance here is especially hard to watch. Maybe it's Pimm Fox, who seems like he'd be better suited working as a Hebrew school teacher than television show host. Maybe it's that Walker can't even say the title of the book he "read" most recently. Maybe it's the photo montage of Walker's pre-broke life that includes a stock image of a Gucci storefront. What's your (least) favorite part?
"Think Rich And Grow." Nice.
