BREAKING: Portland Police Will Not Pull Over Robin Lopez For Watching The New Star Wars Trailer While Driving
If you're anything like us, you
live in your parents basement and build scale model Tie Fighters by yourself on weekends love Star Wars. So does the NBA's de facto nerd king and ambassador to the Jedi counsel, Robin Lopez. The gravity of The Force Awakens trailer debut today was not lost on the Trailblazers center, who made an arrangement with the Portland Police Department to look the other way while he was streaming the 1:31 sneak peek en route to practice.
You do not need to see his identification. This is not the Lopez you're looking for.

Portland is the best.
Lopez was actually pressed on his positions regarding the new Star Wars film's controversial title on Jim Rome's show last week. "Wasn't the last movie Return of the Jedi? The Force should already be back baby -- what's going on?"
"Who knows what the force can do for you?" he added.
Apparently, it can get you immunity.
