Cadigan and Hansen Debate How To Properly Pronounce LeBron
The Cavaliers are the NBA Champions. But you already knew that. LeBron James was the MVP and has officially re-staked his claim as the best player in basketball. But you already knew that. We'll also safely assume that you know how to properly pronounce the name "LeBron". But you know what happens when we assume.
We checked in on the "Cadigan and Hansen" show this morning from Duluth, Minnesota. The hosts were discussing the news from yesterday, which of course was highlighted by Game 7. Rik Jordan was sitting in for Pat Cadigan, with Tom Hansen and Mark Fleischer and he admitted that he pronounces the name LeBron incorrectly. For some reason, he constantly says Lee-Bron, instead of uh, ya know, LeBron. But hey, at least Jordan admitted his mistake.
It's clear that the "Cadigan and Hansen" show aren't major basketball fans. In fact, as you can see in the clip below, they only took a cursory look at the NBA playoffs. We surmised that when Jordan was told that LeBron was the MVP of every game he played in. And then he was told he was the MVP of every series he played in. Except, there is no MVP in any series before the Finals.
So did Jordan even watch Game 7? Well despite his last name, he's only 5'2 you know! And those weather advisories were very distracting last night in Duluth. Yeah, you should watch the clip below for more adorable "hot takes" from the "Cadigan and Hansen" show.
