Cavs Fan Starts GoFundMe Page To Prevent Kevin Love From Playing In Game 6
No one's quite sure exactly how this would work -- likely least of all the guy who posted it. But a Cavaliers fan has started a GoFundMe campaign to prevent Kevin Love from playing in Thursday's Game 6 of the NBA Finals, when Golden State visits Cleveland with a 3-2 series lead.
The goal? $10 million. Money collected so far? Hold on, let me check ... ah yes. $15.
Giles Debenham, who created the page, wrote:
Kevin Love is playing like a bum and just taking up room on the court. Pay this man to take a seat and let the Cavs win these finals!!
OK, that's debatable. But this is obviously a joke, to anyone with eyes. A more practical GoFundMe would be to raise a couple mil to pay off a referee. At least that has precedence.
One commenter didn't appreciate the joke, however:
Shannon Richmond Berrios 33 2 hours ago This is a joke! I'm a victim of a senseless crime in Cleveland and people like you are abusing what go fund me accounts are suppose to be used for. I almost died and left paralyzed due this senseless crime. People like you make it hard for people like me that need help with donations. I need help with physical therapy to try and walk again. Shame on you!
Alan Michael 99 1 hour ago Shannon, learn to take a joke. This go fund me has nothing to do with you or anyone else's go fund me account. The world doesn't revolve around your issue. Get over yourself. sincerely everyone who read your comment.
Great. Now people are arguing about this?
