LeBron James And Dwyane Wade Skip Out On Chris Bosh’s Bachelor Party
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh had a "Hangover 3" themed bachelor party in Las Vegas over the weekend, and judging by the guest list, Bosh and Heat teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade apparently are not the three best friends that anybody could have.
According to The New York Post, Bosh's Big Three cohorts did not attend the four day bender, which included a trip to the shooting range, expensive dinners, a Criss Angel magic show, paintball, and a Rat Pack-themed casino night.
Wade was apparently unable to attend because he was attending Paris Fashion Week alongside the likes of Kanye West, and while James' wherabouts are currently unknown, we all know that King James loves himself some Sin City.
News that James and Wade didn't attend Bosh's bachelor party shouldn't surprise anyone who's followed the Heat this year (and who hasn't?). During an appearance on Bill Simmons' B.S. Report podcast in May, Heat beat writer Brian Windhorst revealed that James and Wade are much closer with each other than either of the two Heat superstars are with Bosh.
According to Windhorst, James and Wade prefer the South Beach night scene, while Bosh tends to keep to himself while attending art galleries and five-star restaurants. This doesn't come as much of a surprise when you consider the self-awareness that Bosh has shown while his career has been thrust under the microscope.
But not attending one's bachelor party isn't a sign of lack of chemistry between the three, either on, or off the court, especially since we know that Wade has an excuse, which he was probably committed to before the party was announced. If neither James or Wade attend the actual wedding, however: that might be another story.
UPDATE: LeBron might've been in Atlantic City. Relax. Nike had a basketball camp there.
