Clippers’ J.J. Redick Sprints Away From Reporter During Interview, And The Reason Is Pretty Amusing
J.J. Redick obviously doesn't get a lot of post-game TV interview requests, if Monday night was any idication. Redick, in fact, got such a request on Monday night, and found himself faced with a difficult dilemma. The Clippers' guard had just scored 24 points, going 10-of-17 from the floor, in LA's 105-103 win over the Detroit Pistons. But while doing an interview with the local Fox affiliate afterward, he looked around nervously, as if he were being chased by a mob hitman.
He still had plenty of energy, we see.
But there was an explanation.
According to @Matt_Winer, JJ was in a hurry because the last Clipper player into the locker room has to dance. JJ wasn't having any of that.

Ah. We're guessing that Redick has a Golden State Warrior-like streak of not dancing, and he didn't want it to end. All in all, what he did was probably best for all concerned.
