Craig Sager Shares An Emotional Moment With The US Basketball Team
It is amazing how sports can bring emotion out of people. Some events will make you want to throw a chair through a television, and others will make you want to kiss your mother. But the best emotion is the type that makes you feel sympathetic for others.
We can definitely say that Craig Sager has hit the hearts of many. For many years, we knew him as the NBA side reporter that often times wore suits that we didn't even think was possible to make. Let alone wear. But somehow, he always managed to pull it off and look good doing it.
Now he is in the biggest fight of his life. He is still battling leukemia, and doing it with a smile. He was supposed to cover the Rio Olympics, but the need for a third bone-marrow transplant derailed those plans. Since he couldn't make the trip, Sager stopped by the USA locker room to wish the players good luck before they headed off for Rio.

A true heart warming moment for a true warrior. The Olympics won't be the same without Sager. Unfortunately, we won't get to see all the suits he had planned for the trip. But we'll get to see those suits one day; when he is healthy and back on the sidelines for good.
