David Lee Traded
If you thought Danny Ainge was gonna let the 2015 NBA offseason pass him by without making any major upgrades to the Boston Celtics' roster, you certainly don't know Danny Ainge. Capitalizing on the Golden State Warriors' talent surplus -- which has them $15 million over the salary cap, mind you -- Ainge managed to snag the final year of David's Lee's $15.4 million contract for the relatively low price of a 33-year-old career journeyman and another grab bag player to even out the deal.
ESPN sources say that the Celtics have agreed to send Gerald Wallace to the Warriors for David Lee

Boston will send another player to the Warriors of their choice to make the money work, but not clear who just yet. Will be a make-good guy.

Don't look now, but heading into the 2015-16 season the Celtics' starting five is shaping up to look pretty damn solid (at least for the Eastern Conference's standards).
PG - Marcus Smart
SG - Avery Bradley
SF - Evan Turner
PF - David Lee
C - Jared Sullinger
Not bad, right? Isaiah Thomas certainly likes it.
