Forget LeBron, Anthony Davis: This Fan’s Thumb Trick Was Best Part Of Pelicans’ OT Win Over Cavs
Anthony Davis finished with 31 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Pelicans over LeBron James and the Cavaliers, 114-108 in OT -- the fifth time this season that Davis has had at least 30 points and 10 boards in a game. That's tops in the league.
LeBron had 37 points, 7 rebound and 8 assists ... but the game's MVP was clearly this guy, whose party thumb trick was at the right place at the right time.

Not nearly enough coverage of this by the ESPN crew. Instead we got more LeBron superlatives -- until very late, anyway, until Davis took over.
Huge play by Anthony Davis in the final minute. https://t.co/HCTctazHzQ

LeBron is a great player, but the constant hype is becoming a real pain in the ass. Not his fault -- he's just out there doing his thing. But note to ESPN -- the game is televised. We don't have to be spoon-fed your LeBron-as-hero uber hero narrative. Let us watch and decide for ourselves. Sheesh.
Me? I'm becoming more of an Unibrow fan with every passing game. I'm not saying that the big man torch has been passed, but it's getting there. Davis is the future.
