In Which Draymond Green And Doc Rivers Both Give Clippers A Tongue-Lashing

Golden State lost a hotly-contested playoff series to the Clippers last season that went seven games. But how times have changed. The Warriors beat Los Angeles on Wednesday night 121-104 -- leading 65-42 at the half -- in a game that really wasn't even that close.
I think that the video above sums up the night rather well. Green had just hit a 3, then gives Blake Griffin the sloth tongue on his way down the court. There's no such thing as taunting in the NBA, clearly. There's also a new sheriff on the West Coast.
After the game, Clippers coach Doc Rivers had a few choice words to reporters about his team. Business Insider:
"I’ve never been in a game where a team scores 65 points and we have one foul. That, to the core of me, bothers me to no end. I mean, I’ve never seen that before... For me, I’m doing something wrong because that’s as soft as you can probably get in a game. One foul? At halftime? Are you f****** kidding me? That’s as bad as I’ve seen."
He was even more critical of his team on their response after getting crushed:
"I didn’t say much [after the game]. I just let them blow smoke up each other’s a****. That’s all they did, in my opinion. I just think if you're going to talk, you've got to be real. I’m not a big fan of group meetings unless they’re real group meetings."
You may recall during the offseason that there was much controversy and gnashing of teeth among the Warriors' front office and coaching staff on whether to trade Klay Thompson for Kevin Love. Thompson is having the best season of his career, averaging 27 points per game, and Golden State is 4-0. The Cavs are 1-3. With 9 percent of precincts reporting, SportsGrid is ready to call this race for Thompson.
