Jason Goudlock is currently imprisoned for aggravated robbery, a charge that could keep him behind bars in Ohio until 1928. According to his website, FreeJasonGoudlock.com, he's a Cleveland native and "progressive activist embedded in the struggle for true justice against the exploitative United States prison industrial complex."
In other words, the dude is kind of crazy. That became especially clear on Thursday evening when Fox 8 Cleveland ran a story about a letter the convict sent to the Ohio Parole Board. He has his next parole hearing later this month and told the parole board ahead of the hearing that he "would truly like to witness in person LeBron James' pursuit of an NBA championship for my beloved hometown."
To be clear, his desire to see The King play live wasn't the primary rationale for an early release in his letter. He said that he plans to work with at-risk youths upon his release and than a sentencing flaw put him in prison for longer than is reasonable.
But still, does this guy think he's going to be taken seriously when he tells the parole board that he should get out early because he wants to go home and see LeBron James try and win a ring?
