James Harden Gets Truckload Of Adidas Shoes Dumped In His Driveway
The dream is always the same -- a moving van shows up at my house and drops a truckload of money into the driveway. They wheel in the cash on dollies, and as the workers drive off, they wave and say "See you again next year!"
That's what happened to James Harden this morning, only the delivery was actually shoes, which is pretty much the same thing. His big 13-year, $200 million deal with adidas begins today, wherein he officially kicks Nike to the curb and represents the stripes. Question: why hasn't a bath robe company made a move on Harden?

So wouldn't it be funny if Harden's game went completely down the tubes from wearing adidas? Thirteen years is a long time. It's a lot of pressure -- Harden is essentially now the Michael Jordan of adidas. Jordan made more money endorsing shoes than he ever did playing basketball, so this is actually a big deal.
