Javaris Crittenton’s Lawyer Lashes Out At FBI After Late-Night Arrest
Federal agents took former NBA star Javaris Crittenton into custody Monday night at John Wayne Airport in Orange County -- an act his attorney calls "playing games."
Crittenton's wanted in Atlanta for the murder of 22-year-old Julian Jones, a crime for which he says he's innocent. NBC 4 reporter John Cádiz Klemack spoke with Crittenton's lawyer Eldridge Suggs, who spoke angrily about the FBI refusing to allow him to surrender his client and about the characterization that Crittenton "fled" to Los Angeles.
Crittenton will appear today at an extradition hearing.
