Jeremy Lin Posed As An Adidas Employee In Taiwan Over The Summer
In case you were wondering, Linsanity is alive and well with a large chunk of the world's population -- namely Taiwan and China. Jeremy Lin, the Lakers' new point guard, paid a visit to his native Taiwan this past summer (his parents were born there) and did the ol' "famous guy works in a sporting goods store" prank. It was an Adidas outlet, the company with which Lin has a shoe contract.
This was funny for two reasons -- Lin's makeup, which made him look pretty much exactly like he looked in middle school; and the fact that he either got recognized right away, or didn't get recognized at all, even when he told people who he really was.
The best part was when he couldn't even give away his t-shirt for free to one guy.
"Take the t-shirt, it's free -- no one buys them anyway."

I love how the girls realized who he is and then he said he came from Japan, to cover up his barely passable Mandarin.
