JJ Reddick Tries To Convince DeAndre Jordan He’s A Righty

Last week, Clippers shooting guard and objectively one of the greatest shooters on the planet floated the notion that DeAndre Jordan -- one of the worst free throw shooters in NBA history -- was using the wrong hand. His evidence? Jordan jumps off of his left foot (something righties do), dunks with his right hand (something righties also do), throws one-handed passes with his right hand and swings a golf club righty.
"I honestly think that, I'm the only left-handed person in my family, so that's kind of weird, and I think they tried to make me do a bunch of stuff right-handed and now I'm good at both of them."
The conversation (which starts around the 10-minute mark in the player at the bottom of the page) ultimately ended in an agree-to-disagree detente, but Reddick makes some really solid points and DJ sounded open to the possibility that he has been shooting basketballs with the wrong hand his entire life. In fact, Reddick was so persuasive that we're starting to wonder if he should've skipped the NBA and gone straight to law school out of Duke.
