The Timberwolves have already dealt with endless injury problems during this still-young NBA season, but none were quite so tough to weather as the broken hand sustained by Kevin Love. Love is, of course, the team's best player, so the T-Wolves could ill afford to be without him for any amount of time... and that's what made it challenging-yet-welcome news when Love was activated for the Wolves' game against the Nuggets on Friday. And Love went right about proving why his early return was such a good thing:
The Wolves lost to the Nuggets 101-94, but Love finished with a customarily gaudy stat line of 34 points and 14 rebounds. Safe to say, the hand won't be too much of an issue going forward. Now if the T-Wolves can just get Ricky Rubio back early too, they'll really be in business.
